Wasps can be aggressive, dangerous and a nuisance. Wasp are medium-sized flying insect, 10 mm to 16 mm long, with a distinct head and chewing mouthparts, large eyes and short antennae. The abdomen is banded with yellow and black, and tipped with a stinger. Wasps typically build their paper nests in or on exterior walls, wall voids, soffits, attics, decks, sheds and other dry locations. Common wasps are Yellow Jacket, Paper Wasp Bald-Faced Hornets and Mud Daubers. Nothing is worse than having a family member or visitor get stung especially when many people are allergic to wasp stings.
